Peter Salussolia - Chairman - Foundation Group

Peter Salussolia is the Chairman and Group Managing Director of the Foundation Group of Companies Limited and majority Shareholder of the Company, which he founded in 1973 .Prior to forming his own Company, Peter Salussolia was Managing Director of The Rambutan Group  developing Hotels, Restaurants and Night Clubs throughout the UK. Peter Salussolia was also a founding member of the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers and held the Chairmanship of the ALMR for five years;  he is now a life-time Vice President of the Organisation. In recognition of his outstanding services to the leisure industry, Peter Salussolia was awarded an OBE by Her Majesty the Queen in her

Jubilee Honours of 2012.


Alfred Bree - Managing Director - Carlton Hotel Collection

Alfred Bree is Managing Director of Hotel Management International (HMI) and Carlton Hotel Collection. He successfully attended the International Hotel School, The Hague (The Netherlands) from 1971 - 1974.

After a number of years gaining practical experience in various operational positions in a number of hotels, he worked for Accor from 1976 - 1982 in various management and General Manager positions.  He was co-responsible for the development and opening of several Accor units and his last position with Accor was as General Manager at the Ibis Hotel Schiphol Airport with 400 rooms.

From 1982-1984 he was partner in several bars and restaurants operations.  In 1985 he became the first General Manager of HMI in Europe being at the newly built Carlton Beach Hotel Scheveningen in The Hague.  Until 1991 he was responsible as General Manager for the opening of all the new Carlton Hotels in The Netherlands, Turkey and Portugal.  In 1991 he became Operations Manager and in 1996 he was appointed Director of Operations for HMI/Carlton Hotel Collection.  In 2000 he became Managing Director of Hotel Management International Ltd / Carlton Hotel Collection.


Alexander Salussolia - Managing Director - Glendola Group

Alex Salussolia, is Managing Director of Glendola Leisure Group and a Board Director of Hotel Management International the owner of the Carlton Hotel Collection.

Alex joined Glendola in 1992 initially as an Area Manager, progressing to Managing Director eight years later. Alex joined the Association of Licensed and Multiple Retailers (ALMR) Council in 1999, Chairman between March 2004 and March 2009 and currently sits as the Vice President for the organisation. Alex was also one of the co-founders of the Westminster Licensees Association and its first chair from 2001 to 2006. He remains actively involved as a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to Glendola Leisure, Salussolia held a number of management positions at Hilton Hotels Group where he began his career in the leisure industry. A Harvard Business School Alumni he also trained at Westminster Hotel School where he obtained an HND in Hotel Management and Cornell University in the USA where he undertook a CPD programme.


Graeme Ramsay - Finance Director - Foundation Group

Graeme Ramsay, FCA is the Group Finance Director and Company Secretary.  His responsibilities cover all of the companies in the group in the UK and overseas.  Graeme joined the Foundation Group in 1999. Prior to working with the Group, Graeme worked for Price Waterhouse.  He joined them in 1989 in their London office.  Having qualified with them in 1993, he went to work in their Budapest office where he worked for two years.  He then enjoyed further two year stints in Vietnam and Hong Kong before returning home to join The Foundation Group.


Tina Salussolia - Director - Foundation Group

Christina Salussolia has been with the Company since its formation in 1973  and has been involved in all aspects of its development as Personal Assistant to the Chairman and Managing Director, Peter Salussolia. Prior to joining the Company, Christina worked in Outside Broadcasting for BBC Television News.
